State Representatives (District 28)

A Florida State Representative is a part-time elected official serving in the lower chamber of the Florida Legislature Their primary duties are writing, debating, and voting on state legislation, passing the annual state budget, and serving constituents in their specific local district.

Florida state representatives are limited to serving four consecutive two-year terms, which equals a maximum of eight consecutive years in office. After reaching this maximum limit, a legislator must remain out of the House for at least one full term before they can run for the same office again.
