District Court of Appeal (District 5)

Florida’s District Courts of Appeal (DCA’s) are the primary appellate courts in the state. They hear appeals from lower circuit and county courts to correct harmful errors and promote clarity in the law. Because most litigated cases end here, they serve as the court of final review for the vast majority of litigants.

Districts 1 – 5 are up for retention election, but the following information is for District 5 ONLY (YES or NO retention).
