Attorney General

An Attorney General is the chief legal officer and primary law enforcement representative for a government. Responsibilities include providing formal legal advice, representing the state or federal government in court, enforcing consumer protection laws, and overseeing criminal investigations.

The Florida Attorney General is limited to serving two consecutive four-year terms. While an individual cannot serve more than two terms in a row, they are permitted to run for the office again after a break in service.
